Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is a dental procedure that needs to be carried out when the blood and nerve supply to a tooth becomes compromised or infected by bacteria, which results in the nerve dying in the tooth.
Such infections usually occur as a result of tooth decay or if you get a bang to a tooth. Very often, this presents as a painful abscess or in extreme cases, a facial swelling. The good news however, is that it is perfectly treatable, and is a painless procedure for the vast majority of cases.
